Hill Dickinson has expanded its shipping team with the addition of London-based law firm Swinnerton Moore.
Shipping law veterans Tony Swinnerton and Lewis Moore, founding partners of Swinnerton Moore, will join the Hill Dickinson team by the end of February.
This move comes hot on the heels of the appointment of Julian Clark as global head of shipping.
Peter Jackson, chief executive of Hill Dickinson, said: “Tony and Lewis are both respected in the marine world, with an excellent track record and bring in expertise that will complement our existing shipping team and further bolster our presence in the international market.”
Swinnerton Moore broke into the London law firm arena 12 years ago and the company’s website lists eight partners, consultants and solicitors as part of the team.
Lewis Moore, who has specialised in ship sale and purchase and ship finance throughout his career, said: “Joining Hill Dickinson is a great opportunity for us. Tony and I are excited to bring our shipping practices to such a highly regarded firm with a renowned heritage in marine law.”
