Korea's Samsung Heavy Industries has clinched another LNG carrier order, with prices seemingly on the rise.
An unnamed Oceania-based company will pay $185m for a 174,000-cbm ship delivering in January 2021, the yard said.
The deal is vessel number 41 for Samsung so far this year.
Its 2018 orders are worth $4.9bn.
Earlier in October, NYK said it had ordered a 174,000-cbm LNGC for a seven-year charter to Total.
That vessel was worth KRW 200bn ($180m) and will also be delivered in 2021.
Samsung has previously said that it expects close to 200 LNG carriers to be ordered over the next five years, quoting recent analysis by Clarksons.
This will include 37 vessels this year due to strong spot freight rates, demand for LNG power generation, and increased use of marine fuel.
