Korea's Samsung Heavy Industries has clinched its fourth LNG carrier order this month.

It said a vessel worth KRW 210bn ($186m) has been contracted with an unnamed client in the Oceania region.

The ship will be delivered by September, 2021.

This deal brings its year-to-date orders to $5.7bn for 46 ships.

The total includes 15 LNG carriers.

Samsung however is targeting $8.2bn worth of orders for 2018.

LNG orders have piled in during December, with rival DSME scooping five contracts and Hyundai seven.

NYK has already ordered two carriers at Samsung this month, while another Oceania customer signed up for one ship.
