Dof has finished 2016 on a positive note by securing two long-term charters for two of its vessels.
The Norwegian owner has entered into a two-year agreement with Asco Marine for the 4,574-dwt Skandi Aukra (built 2012). There are also options attached to the Asco charter.
Dof has also secured a 13-month call-off for the 27,940-bhp Skandi Iceman (built 2013) with Eni Norge. Only 60 days of this charter are firm.
Both contracts started in December, Dof said.
Boosted by a refinancing scheme completed in the summer, Dof posted net earnings of NOK 577m ($68.45m) in the third quarter, reversing a NOK 578m loss a year earlier.
