Norway’s Golden Energy Offshore Services has signed new contracts worth $10.8m.

The shipowner has secured a short-term contract for the 7,200-bhp platform supply vessel Energy Pace (built 2015).

Last week, it said it had got short-term contracts for the 7,200-bhp Energy Partner (built 2016) and 10,200-bhp Energy Swan (built 2005).

The average day rate for the contracts exceeds $28,000, resulting in a total firm value of about $10.8m, the Oaktree Capital Management and Pelagic Partners-backed company said today.

“We are delighted to secure these contracts for our vessels. This achievement reflects our team’s dedication to providing top-tier services and underscores our commitment to operational excellence,” chief executive Per Ivar Fagervoll said.

All three contracts are with “first-class international charterers” and consolidated for a total of 380 firm vessel days.

The same charterers have options to utilise the vessels for up to an additional 380 days at an average day rate exceeding $28,600.

If the options are exercised, the total contract value would amount to $21.7m.

Golden Energy Offshore has a fleet of five PSVs and two multipurpose support vessels.
