Cruiseship passenger numbers hit a record level in the Canary Islands in 2015, according to its tourist board.
It said 2.18m people visited the islands last year, up 14.6% from 2014 and more than double the amount in 2005.
Promotur Turismo de Canarias said: "The growing demand for cruises and the natural attractiveness of the Canary Islands resulted in 2015 being a record-breaking year for the archipelago's ports."
La Luz, Las Palmas on Gran Canaria and Santa Cruz de Tenerife received more than 1m passengers.
Arrecife on Lanzarote welcomed more than 433,000 people.
The islands have created a digital platform for potential visitors as a response, called Islands Ahead.
