Italian yard group Palumbo has taken over Croatian shiprepairer Viktor Lenac.
"This move represents a strategic complement to Palumbo’s current shipyard portfolio," it said.
Palumbo manages shipyards in Naples, Ancona, Messina, Savona, Marseilles, Malta and Tenerife.
Lenac is strong in shiprepair and conversions, and also in the design and construction of offshore installations.
The Hina news agency said Palumbo and the linked P&L Shiprepair Holding company now hold an 82% stake in Lenac.
They had launched an offer in the summer to buy the 59.48% in the yard they did not already control.
Palumbo owner Antonio Palumbo's son controls P&L.
In May, Palumbo Group acquired 14.04% of Lenac.
The shares were bought from Croatian shipbuilder Uljanik Group and domestic shipowner Tankerska Plovidba.
