Singapore logistics company Rongtua Shipping Group is said to have made an entry into the bulker sector.
Brokers reported it has ordered a 64,000-dwt ultramax at the Yangzhou Binjiang shipyard in China.
Delivery is set for 2020, but no price has been given for the deal.
The company is active in container and break-bulk shipping logistics, as well as port agency.
It has been contacted for comment.
Jiangsu-based Yangzhou Binjiang has eight other bulkers on order for domestic clients.
