Poland's Stocznia Szczecinska (Szczecin Shipyard) is profitable again and has started paying dividends.
"Together with our partners operating in our area we carry out contracts and investments related to revitalisation of our company," CEO Andrzej Strzebonski told the PNS news agency..
"We have already invested PLN 20m ($5.39m) in infrastructure and PLN 10m-worth of investments are currently carried out."
The average profit has reached about PLN 3m.
The reborn yard is building a ro-pax for Danish owner Thyboron-Agger Faerg and two general cargoships for Germany's Lauterjung Group.
It is also helping to construct six cruiseship hulls and is targeting tanker contracts,
The site fetched PLN 100m from Mars Investment Fund in 2017.
Production at the yard was halted in January 2009 after the European Commission ruled it was granted illegal state aid.
It was sold off in lots in 2010.
