Italian shipowner Marnavi has declared an option for a second chemical/product tanker in China.
Brokers said the 14,600-dwt ship will be delivered in 2020 from Wuchang Shipbuilding.
The original order was signed last December for a firm ship with an option. it represented its debut Chinese newbuilding order.
The first vessel is due in November 2019. No prices have been revealed.
The owner is listed with a fleet of 34 operational vessels.
The vast majority of these have been built in Italy, with some also constructed in India, Turkey and other European countries.
