Norwegian ro-pax owner Fjord Line has posted a better third quarter profit as passenger and freight volumes rose.
The net figure was NOK 183.12m ($22.08m), from NOK 165.69m in the same three months of 2016.
Revenue rose to NOK 570m from NOK 493m, while freight units were up 15% to 16,192.
Passengers numbers were 6% higher at 570,000 and car trips 5% up at 178,000.
CEO Rickard Ternblom said: "We remain on target with our ambitious goals and despite already high utilisation due to peak season, it’s pleasing to note a passenger increase year on year with 6% combined with further freight volume increases with 15% in Q3."
He added that EBITDA continued to grow, driven by higher average rates in all areas together with stringent cost control.
